Diti Ronen, born in Tel Aviv, is the mother of five, a poet, a poetry editor, poetry translator, and a scholar.
Ronen’s poetry won several prestigious awards in Israel and abroad. She has published fifteen full-length poetry books in Hebrew and in other languages. Her poetry is published worldwide in books, anthologies, and literary magazines. Ronen is invited regularly to perform her poetry in poetry festivals around the world.
Besides her poetry writings, Dr. Ronen is a researcher of Arts. She has published books, essays, and position papers in her fields of interest. Ronen is a former lecturer in The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the former head of Literature, Theatre and Cultural Policy Departments in the Israeli Ministry of Culture, and the former head of Literature and Theatre Departments in the Ats Wing, TLA Municipality.
