Diti Ronen – A poet, a poetry editor, poetry translator

Diti Ronen, born in Tel Aviv, is the mother of five, a poet, a poetry editor, poetry translator, and a scholar.

Ronen’s poetry won several awards in Israel and abroad. She has published twelve full-length poetry books. Her poetry is translated into more than twenty languages, and is published worldwide in books, anthologies, and literary magazines. Ronen is invited regularly to perform her poetry in poetry festivals around the world.

Besides her poetry writing, Dr. Ronen is a researcher of Arts. She has published several books, essays, and position papers in her research fields. Ronen is a former lecturer in The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the former head of Literature, Theatre and Cultural Policy Departments in the Israeli Ministry of Culture, and the former head of Literature and Theatre Departments in the Ats Wing, TLA Municipality.

Ronen is very much engaged in The Israeli Art’s field. She serves at Boards of Directors, and she is a Cultural Policy consultant for Ministries, Municipalities, Art Forums, Art Funds and Artistic NGOs.
